SOME PEOPLE COLLECT MUSIC. Carmen Electra collects musicians. The 29-year-old former Prince protegee and MTV Singled Out cohost has been linked to Tommy Lee, Fred Durst, Kid Rock [Carmen has since commented that the Kid Rock rumour was totally FALSE], Cypress Hill's B-Real and kinky Janes Addiction guitar stud Dave Navarro, to whom she's currently engaged.

Now, it's obvious why so many rock stars would prostrate themselves at Carmen's bare feet, but why would she get involved with such unrepentant tomcats? "There's something about a creative guy who has a little edge," Electra slyly divulges from her West Hollywood duplex. "But I don't judge them for their music. I love them for who they are." Hey, that's funny - us too!

Raised in Cincinnati by a funk-guitarist dad and a disco-loving mom, the former Tara Patrick moved to Los Angeles at 18 and quickly caught the wandering eye of Prince, who signed her to his Paisley Park label. When her 1993 self-titled debut failed to make the world forget Apollonia (who?), Electra switched to acting, modeling and A-list rock-dude accessorizing.

In addition to L.A. house-hunting with Navarro, Electra's current projects include a cameo in the upcoming David Zucker comedy The Guest, a stint on TVs cybercarnagefest BattleBots and today's role as friendly hostess to a smitten Blender scribe. Hey, Carmen, show us your CDs!

AC/DC Back In Black "I used to have roller skating parties in my basement. When I was 7, durring one of these parties, I had my first kiss in the laundry room while Back In Black was playing. I had such a big crush on the boy that I would listen to that record over and over, especially 'You Shook Me All Night Long'."	Run-DMC Raising Hell "This record is responsible for my love of hip-hop. I especially loved 'My Adidas.' I started wearing Adidas tennis shoes and Adidas sweatsuits every day to school. I dressed like a boy. I wanted to be a boy. The girls would give me a hard time. I had my own thing going on. Nothing's changed."	Buena Vista Social Club Buena Vista Social Club "It reminds me of a Cuban family I lived with for four years. I was 22, 23 years old. My mom passed away from cancer, and before she died, she asked a friend to watch after me. I listened to all her Cuban music. It was a really great time. Oh, and I dated her son for four years."	The Artist The Love Symbol Album "This was the only Artist record that I ever worked on. We did a duet on a song called 'Continental.' That was an amazing experience, to go into the studio with Prince, have him right there. I was scared to death, but I learned so much from him. He's very professional, a hard worker, and very to the point."	Massive Attack Mezzanine "Dave and I kept this in constant rotation durring the time we fell in love. It's sexy music, and we were falling in love to it, so it definitely had an effect on us, both physically and emotionally - especially the songs 'Angel' and 'Teardrop'."
Dave Navarro Trust No One "After it was released, Dave confessed that it was our relationship that was the motivation for the albums completion. I think at one point the record wasn't going to happen. He told me I inspired him to move forward with it, which I thought was really sweet and touching."	Janet Jackson Control "I saw the video for 'Nasty', and was blown away. There were no other girls like her. I had my mom take me shopping to buy clothes like hers. I permed my hair and dyed it black. I wanted to dance like her. I wanted to be Janet Jackson."	Grease Soundtrack "My very first record. We put on shows for the kids in our basement to Grease, and in a way it inspired me to become an entertainer. When I was 6, I had the outfit Sandy wore when she became a bad girl: black spandex tights and Barbie high heels."	The Notorious B.I.G. Ready To Die "This is my all-time favorite hip-hop CD. I was actually at the same party Biggie was at before he was killed. I was in the parking lot and I heard gunshots, so we ran for our cars. It's unfortunate that people died because of which coast they were from."	Hole Live Through This "This album is just plain honest. It's a brilliant collection of rock songs that women can relate to. It's strong, it's hard, it's a woman. I sometimes listen to it if I'm going to an audition. It gets me in a certain kind of mood."
